RICHLAND, Wash. -- The Arc of Tri-Cities is looking to expand as the demand for its services continues to grow.
The new building is near the intersection of Fowler Street and Georgia Avenue in Richland will cost about $3.6 million.
Arc will break ground on the 14,000 square feet facility in November and officials hope to open in October of 2009. It is designed for about 500 people who are on wait lists for Arc programs. The Arc already serves more than 1,300 in Benton and Franklin counties at its facility on Williams Boulevard.
