Kennewick police are looking for a man involved in a burglary. K-9 units are searching Kennewick after the man fled from a stolen car filled with stolen property including electronics and construction items.

A Kennewick patrol officer spotted the car and recognized it as a stolen vehicle. Police began to pursue the car. When the stolen vehicle made a turn to lose the police, the driver lost control of the vehicle on the icy road and hit the curb.

Police say the driver and the passenger then took off on foot. A few blocks later the driver, Randy Rice, was taken into custody. Police say he is a known felon and had a warrant out from department of corrections. He has been booked into the Benton County Jail for possession of stolen property.

Police are asking anyone with information on the passenger of the vehicle or the stolen items inside the car to call Kennewick police.
