Police Still Looking For Second Suspect Involved In a Vehicle Theft
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Kennewick police are still looking for a second suspect they believe was involved in a burglary.
Saturday night officers spotted a car and recognized it as a vehicle stolen in December of last year. Police followed the car and as the vehicle made a turn to lose the police, the driver lost control on the icey road and hit the curb.
The driver and the passenger then took off on foot, but police were able to find one of the suspects.
"Officers conducted a search of the area and located one male hiding in a back yard approximately two blocks away," said Sergeant Chris Walters from the Kennewick Police Department.
That suspect has been identified as Randy Rice. He was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant and possession of stolen property.
Inside the vehicle officers found more stolen property, including electronics and construction items. They ask anyone with more information to call Crime Stoppers at 586-TIPS.
