Terrace Heights, WA - A Terrace Heights man discovers a hidden artistic talent through computer technology.
44-year-old Doug Thomas is a digital artist.
He spends hours at his computer each day playing with different shapes.
Thomas broke his neck in a diving accident 17-years ago.
He's a quadraplegic with limited use of his arms and hands.
He learned about this art form five years ago after he bought a computer for his step-son.
"I'd like to be an inspiration to people who have a disabilty that may need that boost or something to show them that there's more out there for them," says Thomas.
He has started to actively promote his work in recent years through the internet.
If you are interested in taking a closer look at his work, you can check out his latest exhibit at the Sportscenter in Downtown Yakima. Or go to kndo-dot-com for a link to his website.
