Finally some relief for anyone trying to get over to the other side of the mountains. Snoqualmie pass reopened at four Saturday morning.
The Washington Department of Transportation says the avalanche warning level has been reduced from extreme to moderate.
DOT says so far traffic is moving well.
"Traffic is pretty light, it's lighter Eastbound, little more moderate Westbound, but there's not a lot of traffic on the road and it's ok to drive," said Summer Derrey, with the Washington Department of Transportation.
DOT also says they will continue their avalanche control efforts for the rest of the weekend. They say this has been one of their highest records for snow fall and avalanche dangers in many years.
