Democrat and Republican Caucuses in the Tri-Cities
Democrats and Republicans in the Tri-Cities headed to their respective caucus locations on Saturday.
We caught up with a cheerful group of Democrats from Franklin County. More than 200 of them gathered in Pasco.
And more than 80 Republicans headed to Kamiakin High School in Kennewick. Party officials for both parties helped these future voters find the right precinct, and also assisted with voter registration.
"Iraq is a big issue for me and the economy, make sure that we keep the economy strong, those are my two big issues," said Chris Fischer, a Democrat voter.
"This is going to be an incredibly interesting election almost like watching a football game right down to the very last second," said Sheree Schweiger, a Republican voter.
Party officials will tally up these ballots and add the votes to their respective state parties.
