SEATTLE (AP) - Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass is back open.
The Washington Department of Transportation closed the state's busiest pass through the Cascades on Thursday because of heavy, wet snow that was unleashed during avalanche control work.
The highway reopened around 12:15 a.m. Sunday. Single-lane closures are expected as crews work to improve road conditions.
White Pass reopened in both directions around 9 a.m. after being shut down early Thursday.
Mount Baker Highway opened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Avalanche danger closed the road east of Glacier on Friday night.
Stevens remains closed as crews work to clear large snow slides.
And for the second time in two weeks, snow slides have blocked State Route 20 between Newhalem and Diablo, cutting off access for Seattle City Light residents and workers in Diablo.
