Giant Pancake Feed to Benefit Junior Achievement

Posted: Updated:

TRI-CITIES, Wash. - Junior Achievement participants are raising funds in their annual giant Pancake Feed Friday February 15th.

Breakfast goes from 7:00 a.m to 9:00 a.m. at Yoke's Fresh Markets in Pasco, Kennewick, and West Richland.

The Pancake Feed is put on by Junior Achievement participants, a program involving over 7,500 students from kindergarten to 12th grade at local schools.  The schools partner up with local businesses and hundreds of volunteers donate their time to teach kids all about the business world.  They learn everything from finances, economics, local government and even taxes.

But they need money to pay for materials and to pay for activities including a big bowling party they have every year.

Pancakes are $5.00 a person.  Here are the Yoke's locations around the Tri-Cities.
