Cougs Break Losing Streak at Oregon, Improve to 8-5 in Pac-10

EUGENE, Ore - The No. 21 Washington State Cougars are exorcising all their Oregon Ducks demons.

Taylor Rochestie scored 21 points and the Cougars ended a 12-game losing streak at Eugene's McArthur Court with a 62-53 win against the Ducks tonight.

Rochestie scored 16 points in the second half, while Derrick Low added 16 points and Aron Baynes scored 12 for the Cougars, who won for the first time in Eugene since 1995.

Washington State won its 20th game, improving to 20-5 overall.  The Cougars are 8-5 in the Pac-10.

Earlier this season, Washington State ended a 13-game losing streak to the Ducks (15-10, 6-7) with a win in Pullman.

Oregon dropped to 6-7 in the league tonight.  Maarty Leunen scored 20 points to lead the Ducks.
