Oregon is finally joining a long list of states that require proof of legal residence to get a driver's license.
The Senate has finally approved this bill. Those who are in support of the bill say the previous rules have made the state a target for non-citizens who want to obtain ID's.
But several senators in opposition say this new law will create problems for undocumented workers who will now have to drive without licenses. The bill will now move on to the House for voting.
