At about 12:30 early Tuesday morning he went outside the home and was approached by three men wearing bandanas over their faces.

Police say Adams and one of the men started fighting and that's when he was shot in the chest.

Adams was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three suspects then left on foot and police are still looking for them at this hour.
