37-year-old Bradley Jared Holzerland thought he was setting up a meeting with a minor at a middle school in Beaverton, OR., but he never thought he would be surprised by police.

This is all part of a new law that went into effect on January 1st. in Oregon, to crack down on online predators. The law allows police to arrest anyone asking a child to engage in sex using the Internet, even if this person doesn't physically make it to the actual meeting.
Holzerland pleaded not guilty to his charges and is being held at Washington County Jail on $63,710 bail. He could face up to 10 years in prison and more than $200,000 in fines.
