YAKIMA -- The men involved in last week's deadly shooting in Terrace Hheights avoid murder charges.
22 year old Lawrence Adams of Kennewick and 18 year old Khiry Jackson of Pasco have been charged with first degree burglary and robbery.
Adams and Jackson, along with 21 year old Marcus Bradford of Kennewick, tried to rob a Terrace Heights home on February 14th.
The homeowner, Luis Acevedo, shot and killed Bradford during the attempted robbery. Adams and Jackson claim they had arranged to buy 150 pounds of marijuana.
Sheriff's detectives wanted Jackson and Adams to face murder charges, but prosecutors ruled that out because they're accused of joining Bradford in committing a crime.
Adams and Jackson are in jail with bail set at 50-thousand dollars each.
