Moses Lake Christian withstands Entiat 62-58 in double overtime

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Kameron Firouzi made four free throws in the second overtime to give Moses Lake Christian the lead for good, and the Lions held on to beat Entiat 62-58 on Saturday for third place in the Class 1B boys state tournament.
Taylor Sandberg scored 3 of his 13 points in the second overtime for the Lions, who squandered an 11-point halftime, but held on at the end.
Entiat's Kevin Arnold made two free throws with eight seconds remaining in the first overtime to tie the game at 53-all. The Lions weren't able to get off a shot, and the game went into a second overtime.
Moses Lake Christian had a chance to win the game in regulation, but Adrian Moffet, who led all scorers with 25 points, missed the front end of an 1-1 with six seconds left.
Firouzi finished with 12 points, and Sandberg and Moffet each grabbed 13 rebounds.
Leonardo Quezada led four Entiat players in double figures with 15 points, while Dylan Crawley and Jacob Anderson each added 13 and Tomas Whitehall scored 11.
Crawley grabbed 16 of the Tigers' 52 rebounds.
