ELLENSBURG, Wash.- The death of 30-year-old Lonnie Ray Short of Seattle remains an Ellensburg mystery. Police are waiting for autopsy results to help them figure out if Short's death was homicide or an accident.
Police say the Wildgoose Casino in Ellensburg is playing a big part in the investigation. Right now they're using video surveillance from the casino to piece things together. Police told us they have video of Short leaving the casino last Thursday night just after 9 p.m. Sunday morning, his body was found in a ditch just a couple hundred feet away.
Autopsy results are expected back soon. Toxicology results, to find out if drugs or alcohol were factors in Short's death, will be released in a couple of weeks.
