Sun Kings' Opponent Shut Down by CBA

Posted: Updated:
YAKIMA, Wash. - The Sun Kings were supposed to play at Great Falls Wednesday and Friday, but the Montana city no longer has a team. Sources in Great Falls tell KNDO that Explorers owner Michael Tuckman was not making payments on his lease with the Four Seasons Arena. Many recent games had to be cancelled, and Tuesday the CBA shut down the team's operations. The Sun Kings had already postponed the games in Great Falls a few days ago..
Tuesday the Sun Kings were flying back from a game in Oklahoma.  They headed for Yakima, instead of stopping in Montana.
The 37-4 Sun Kings have four regular season games left, all at home. That stretch begins next Tuesday night against Oklahoma.
