Cutting Speed on I-182

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. -- Slow down! That's what Washington State Troopers are saying to drivers on I-182.

Monday, the Department of Transportation starts construction on the freeway, from Road 68 to George Washington Way. Traffic will be cut down to two lanes each way and the speed limit will drop from 70 to 55.

And troopers say they will be there, keeping both the construction workers and drivers safe. The construction will replace expansion joints on the I-182 Columbia River Bridge and last until April 30th.
