Police Look For Person Of Interest In West Richland Burglary Case
WEST RICHLAND, Wash. - West Richland Police are searching for a man who they think was involved in a burglary.
43-year-old Daniel Thomas Steelmon is being called a person of interest in the case. In late October there was a fire at a home on Flat Top Hill in West Richland.
Authorities said while the family was displaced someone was stealing from their home and taking items that survived the fire.
In mid February 53-year-old Debra Petross was arrested after police said they found stolen property from the home her in van. Police said 6,100 dollars worth of stolen property was discovered in her vehicle and in a storage unit in Richland.
Police said there is still thousands of dollars worth of missing items.
Police think that Steelmon might be involved in the burglary. Contact Police if you have any information.
