Man Caught After Short Chase With Troopers and Police Tuesday Night
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Tuesday night police throughout the Tri-Cities worked together to capture a man that tried to flee from authorities.
A Washington State Trooper tried to stop 31-year-old Justin Sullivan off Highway 395 in Kennewick.
Trooper Chris Thorson said that first the driver wouldn't stop, then he fled on foot leaving his car near 19th and Ely Street in Kennewick.
Pasco officers brought their K-9 dog from Franklin County to help with the search.
The suspect was caught by Kennewick Police a block away.
Thorson said, "Not only was his license suspended he has three outstanding warrants for arrest. He also had a passenger that ran from the scene that we weren't able to catch and he is still on the loose."
The passenger is described as a white male but troopers said they are not actively looking for him.
The suspect allegedly ran through a number of backyards in the Cherry Hill mobile home community before he was caught.
Some neighbors called police and were concerned about what was going on.
