ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- (Mar. 13) Fans interested in following along with Central Washington's NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship run can do so through a variety of media options.
In addition to the traditional radio broadcast provided by CWU Athletics Hall-of-Fame broadcaster Robert Lowery, which will be available online through the CWU Alumni Association and on the radio airwaves on KXLE-AM 1240 in the Kittitas Valley, fans can track the Wildcats throughout the tournament online with a free video stream and live stats.
The video stream, which is currently scheduled to be available free of charge, is available for all regional tournament games through Penn Atlantic. Central Washington (21-6) will make its fifth-ever NCAA Division II tournament appearance on Friday, taking on conference rival Seattle Pacific (20-7) at 5:30 p.m. Alaska Daylight Time (6:30 p.m. PDT). The Wildcats, seeded fourth in the eight-team West Regional, will take on the fifth-seeded Falcons for the second time in a seven-day period when they face off on Friday. Central defeated SPU in overtime, 105-96, in the regular-season finale for both schools last Saturday (Mar. 8) at Nicholson Pavilion.
