Tri-Cities, Wash. - The demand for heating and air services is on the rise and with all the homes going up around the area some contractors are struggling to meet deadlines.
Part of the reason for the early rush is due to the anticipation of warmer temperatures, but others say it's mostly due to the amount of growth in the Tri-Cities.
One contractor in Benton City has stopped taking service calls to catch up on the work he already has .
"About a week ago it just overwhelmed me. I have more work than I know what to do with and no employees to help me out," said Patrick Case with Weather Master heating and Air.
Case says work has become so busy he's working 14 to 16 hour days to keep up. He also says he needs to hire at least 5 employees to meet deadlines.
Heating and air business owners recommend calling before the hot summer months if you need some work done on your heating and air unit.
