Benton County Coroner Announcing Plans for an Inquest
KENNEWICK, Wash.--On Thursday, March 27th, the Benton County Coroner is announcing there'll be an Inquest to determine how 27-year-old Michael Salazar died in a Kennewick shooting last October.
Coroner, Rick Corson, said an Inquest is a fact finding procedure. A panel of jurors and people with standing, meaning those with evidence/knowledge about the case will only be allowed to cross-examine the facts.
At the time in 2007, Corson ruled Salazar's death as a homicide.
