Video of "Bored Bandit" Person of Interest

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash.- Police around the Tri-Cities are looking for a man they say has been writing "bored" on things.

Police think this man is responsible for 30 cases in Richland and another at Joe's Sports in Kennewick.

The suspect apparently writes bored on anything he can.

In Kennewick, he carved the word into a mirror in the Joe's bathroom.

"Anytime you're dealing with 300 minutes malicious mischief, I mean you're probably talking upwards of $1,000 or more more, so you know, it takes time to clean that stuff up," said Det. Sgt. Jeff Taylor with RPD.

Police say the amount of damage could quickly make the offenses a felony.

If you have any information or recognize the man in the video, please call police.
