YAKIMA, Wash. -- Cities through out the state have been holding town hall meetings to discuss underage drinking in their community.
The meetings are part of the "Start Talking Now" campaign. According to the Washington Coalition for Underage Drinking, many parents do not know how to communicate with their children about drinking.
The purpose of the meetings is to educate parents on how to open up a dialog with their kids and how to answer tough questions about alcohol.
The meetings will continue into the month of April.
