YAKIMA, Wash. -- The City of Yakima's Public Records Office recently scored perfectly on an inspection by the state auditor.
The auditor's office made a total of ten public information requests. They ranged from records on employee vacation time to cell phone records.
The City's score was based on accuracy and how quickly the requests were granted. Yakima was one of 30 government agencies tested through out the state. Officials at City Hall say this is the first time they have gone through a public records performance audit.
