SEATTLE (AP) - Despite getting 30 points from likely NBA Rookie of the Year Kevin Durant, the Seattle SuperSonics collapsed in the fourth quarter and were 102-84 losers to the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday at KeyArena.
The Sonics were outscored 33-14 in the final period after leading 70-69 after three quarters.
The Sonics dropped their fourth game in a row and lost for the 19th time in 21 games. They have just two victories since March 1.
The Sonics were without forward Damien Wilkins, who missed the game for personal reasons.With a 17-58 record, the Sonics are down to the final seven games on their schedule.
The Sonics play the Houston Rockets on Friday night at KeyArena in their next game.
