RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) - Rep. Doc Hastings has officially announced he's running for an eighth term representing Central Washington's 4th Congressional District.
The Pasco Republican has been in the U.S. House Seat since 1994.
He's the Senior Republican member of the State's Congressional Delegation, as well as the Senior Republican on the House Ethics Committee.
Hastings handily won re-election in 2006.
The district stretches from Wenatchee in North-Central Washington, to the Tri-Cities.
At least one democrat has announced he will run for the seat.
That's George Fearing, a Kennewick lawyer, who announced his candidacy last year.
