Bishop issues apology to parishioners

Posted: Updated:
Yakima, WA -  Priests in 41 catholic parishes across Central Washington read an apology letter from the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yakima to their respective parishioners.

Bishop Carlos Sevilla personally delivered an apology to parishioners this past Sunday at Saint Juan Diego Catholic Church in Cowiche.

He had hired Juan Gonzalez to work at the neighboring Saint Peter Retreat five years ago, despite knowing he was under investigation for viewing child porn online.
