ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - The Seattle Mariners broke their 4-game losing streak tonight with a 6-5 win over Tampa Bay.

Mariners starter Erik Bedard got the win, allowing five runs and five hits over six innings.

Seattle acquired the left-hander in an offseason trade from Baltimore.

Richie Sexson drove in three runs for the Mariners, drawing a bases-loaded walk in the third and hitting a two-run single in the sixth.

Brad Wilkerson also had a two-run single for the Mariners, who had lost four straight in Baltimore before tonight.

Shawn Riggans and Carlos Pena hit solo homers off Bedard for the Rays.
