Loitering in Downtown Kennewick a Continual Issue

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.--Loitering in an area of downtown Kennewick known as the
"Parkade" is a continual problem.

Both police and local business owners say teenagers and adults flock to the bars and night clubs each night.

One shop owner said problems occur everywhere.

"You're always going to have a little bit here or there," says Randy Wilmoth, owner of WYRD Emporium. It's how you deal with it. It's been dealt with very well down here."

Late last night, two 15-year-old boys were arrested after attending "teen night" at one of the clubs. One for assault. The other for hitting an police officer and Resisting arrest.

But a bigger issue police want answered is... where were the parents?
