Fever Scorched by Burn, 74-28

Posted: Updated:

BOISE, ID - The Tri-Cities Fever are now 0-3 after a particularly embarassing loss against the Boise Burn tonight.

The scoring started just seconds in to the game when Emery Beckles couldn't field a kickoff that took a funny bounce right into the hands of Terrence Sanders.  Sanders took it in easily for a score and it was all downhill from there as the Burn trounce the Fever 74-28.

Fever Quarterback Jason Campbell completed just 9 of his 20 passes, had both of his interceptions returned for touchdowns, and threw for only one touchdown.  His backup John Pierce fared little better, going 7 of 18 with two touchdowns and no picks.

The Fever are on the road next Saturday April 26th at Peoria.  That game starts at 5:05 our time.
