Safeway Gas Station Robbery Suspect Arrested

KENNEWICK, Wash.--Kennewick police have arrested a man accused of robbing the Safeway Gas Station Tuesday night.

32-year-old Justin Hoyt of Pasco was apparently trying to steal MP3 Players from the Target on Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick. Store security cameras captured it all and police were called.

Both patrol officers and detectives arrested Hoyt outside the store where they found him with a walkie-talkie. Police quickly learned Hoyt was getting help.     

Hoyt, along with two women were later arrested for Felony theft.

One woman also faces additional charges for her involvement in the gas station armed robbery.
