In June of 1998, the Tri-Cities Visitor & Convention Bureau's Sports Council formed the Central Washington Sports Hall of Fame to honor and preserve the region's rich sports heritage and recognize the achievements of those who excel or significantly contribute to sports; all in a manner that enhances the image of this region. Inductees come from the Tri-Cities, Yakima, Kittitas and Wenatchee Valleys, Columbia Basin, Blue Mountain and other areas of Central Washington.
A special thank you goes out to Fluor for their generous support of the Central Washington Sports Hall of Fame.
