Kennewick Thief Faces New Charges from Oregon

Posted: Updated:

HERMISTON, Ore. -- A man who robbed a Kennewick Safeway gas station on Monday is now accused of yet another theft. Justin William Hoyt was arrested on Tuesday after trying to steal some MP3 players from the Target in Kennewick.

These recent charges come from Hermiston, two weeks ago. Hoyt was at the Wal-Mart on 1st Street in Hermiston when he stole a digital camera and took off, pushing a Wal-Mart employee as he tried to get away.

Store employees identified the man as being one with a large tattoo on his neck, exactly like the one that Hoyt has. Hoyt was interviewed in the Benton County Jail and from there a theft and robbery charge were added to the ones he is already facing.
