KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) - The Seattle Seahawks selected 318-pound defensive tackle Red Bryant of Texas A&M in the fourth round of the NFL draft Sunday, at No. 121 overall. The pick seeks to replenish offseason departure of run-stopping defensive lineman Chuck Darby and is insurance in case Marcus Tubbs isn't ready to return from knee surgery this season.
In the fifth round, Seattle chose 247-pound fullback Owen Schmitt from West Virginia. The Seahawks' sixth-round pick was long snapper Tyler Schmitt from San Diego State.
