Columbia-Burbank Superintendent Leaving

Posted: Updated:

BURBANK, Wash. -- A Columbia-Burbank educational veteran is on his way to Spokane. Ben Small has been the superintendent at Columbia-Burbank School District for 12 years.

But at the end of June, he will leave the district and the town he has grown to love.
He will be on his way to the Central Valley School District in Spokane.
But, Small says he will certainly miss Burbank.

Small says his new district has 12,000 students while Columbia-Burbank had just under a 1,000. He says relocating to Spokane just seemed like a great career move.
