KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The State Department of Health says the family of ten, attended the Generation Church Conference in Kirkland.

Doctors say this is where the family seems to have been exposed to the virus. The conference was at the end of March. Close to 2,000 people from the US and other countries attended.

All 8 children in the house hold, are reported to have a rash. The health department says Measles is one of the most contagious diseases they see.

"If you have a rash and you suspect that you may have been exposed to one of these cases call your physician first because if you walk in, you can expose everyone in that office," said Dr. Larry Jecha, from the Benton Franklin Health Department.

Dr. Jecha also says all eight kids who caught the virus were not vaccinated. Five of the children recovered without complications. The other three were treated for pneumonia.
