Ecology Asks for Public's Perspective on Hanford Cleanup
RICHLAND, Wash.- It's your chance to make your voice heard on Hanford cleanup.
The Department of Ecology is surveying the public on what they think of cleanup and the Tri-Party Agreement.
Ecology leaders will use the results to improve or change programs and reach out to the public on issues the survey may identify.
"They're more than a customer, they're our boss, and so we want to make sure that we're responding to their needs and their issues in a way that's respectful of their values and their time, but we're giving them the information they need to make decisions," said Nolan Curtis, Nuclear Waste Program Section Manager for Ecology.
