PASCO, Wash. - Another candidate decided to run for a Superior Court Judge Position.   Kennewick Attorney and Court Commissioner Jerri Potts made the announcement on the steps of the Franklin County Courthouse on Thursday.

The open position comes after Judge Dennis Yule announced that he was retiring.

Potts said, "I believe this will take me to another level.  It will allow me to be more fully engaged in and involved in programs that are coming before the courts."

Commissioner Potts graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law.  She was the lead attorney representing the Division of Children and Family services in protecting abused and neglected children.
