KENNEWICK, Wash - With 0.9 seconds left on the clock and down by 6, Fever QB Josh Kellett took the snap, rolled to his right and threw a pass to WR Phil Goodman who made a leaping sideways catch to even the score for the first time since the game started and K Kyle Hooper (7-7 PAT) tacked on the extra point with no time remaining to give Tri-Cities (1-4) their first win in '08.

Central Valley (2-3) looked to have total control of the game with under a minute left in the first half and leading by 20 after a missed extra point by K Mikael Bjork (6-7 PAT).  The Fever had an answer with Goodman (7 catches for 81 yards; 3 TDs), who earned his 2nd JLS Ironman of the Game award, catching a TD pass from Kellett  (20-37, 257 yards; 7 TDs) with 11 seconds left before half to cut the deficit to 13.

The Fever nipped their way back through the second half staying within striking distance, however the Coyotes had an opportunity late in the 4th quarter to shut the door on the Fever, but dropped balls and a costly penalty led them to a missed field goal and give the Fever possession with little time remaining.  The Fever drove the field converting a 4th and 3 with less than 30 seconds to play which led to the eventual scoring play.

JR Thomas led the strong receiving core with 8 catches for 113 yards and 3 TDs which moved him to 8th all-time on the af2 career scoring list.
