STEVENSON, Wash. (AP) - The Skamania County sheriff's office and Coast Guard are resuming the search for three Yakama Indian fishermen missing in the Columbia River after their boat overturned near Stevenson.
The sheriff's office says the search is resuming at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The boat was found capsized Wednesday with no sign of the men who were aboard. Skamania County Undersheriff Dave Cox says they were fishing near the mouth of Wind River.
A Coast Guard helicopter from Astoria scanned the river, and divers searched the vicinity of the capsized boat Wednesday without success. Copyright 2008 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
