Daytime Burglars Hit Pasco In Recent Weeks Now Police Want People To Watch Out
PASCO, Wash. - Kennewick Police reported a number of daytime burglaries in late March, but now Pasco Police say they are seeing the same thing.
The daytime burglars hit the 5000 block of Truman Lane and Buchannan Lane in Pasco. Police said there were several residential burglaries on Thursday. There have been many reports in West and Central Pasco.
Police also report 43 break-ins in April and 15 so far in May.
According to authorities the suspects use the same tactics from many of the burglaries. They will bang on the front door of the home to try an figure out if someone is home.
If no one answers they try to break in but if the homeowner answers the thieves will ask if a random person lives there or say they need help because they are having car troubles.
Louie Espinoza just moved into the neighborhood a month ago. He said it is scary that people are doing this and the neighbors really need to rely on each other.
Police aren't sure if all the break-ins are connected.
Right now they are looking for young Hispanic men in their teens are early 20's. Witnesses have seen a blue 90's Chevy truck and silver Nissan Altima leaving the area during the time of the burglaries. Police warn to be careful of people knocking on your door.
