RICHLAND, Wash.-- Law enforcement agencies across the Tri-Cities took some time today to honor some of their own.
Many people came to Columbia Park for the annual Police Memorial. It serves as a tribute to officers who lost their lives or were seriously injured in the line of duty.
We talked to one woman who works at the Kennewick Police Department. She says losing a team member is never easy.
"It's weird in the law enforcement environment, that if something happens, everyone comes running, we truly are like brothers and sisters," said Patsy Osborn, who works at the Kennewick Police Department.
The guest speaker today was Benton County prosecutor Andy Miller.
