SEATTLE (AP) - A small fuel spill occurred on the Seattle waterfront Saturday evening, but it was quickly cleaned up and no damage was reported.
A spokeswoman for state Department of Ecology, Mary Ellen Voss, says fewer than five gallons of fuel spilled at Pier 15 about 6:45 p.m. as it was being transfered to a tugboat at Rainier Petroleum.
Voss says a valve apparently did not shut off completely at the end of the fuel transfer.
