TOPPENISH, Wash. -- The 600 hundred block of First Avenue in Toppenish has been the scene of multiple shootings over the last week.
KNDO was in front of 517 East First Avenue searching for information on last nights shooting when Toppenish Police and Yakima County Sheriff's pulled up to the house surrounded it and eventually went inside.
After about ten minutes they came out with a young man who appeared to be around 20-years-old.
Neighbors say the man is a Norteno gang member.
Toppenish police wouldn't say whether this arrest is linked to any of the shootings.
Another shooting happened last night in the 100-block of H Street, no injuries were reported there.
Police were also called to the Toppenish emergency room where a man was being treated for a gunshot wound. They have not said where that shooting took place, but they do say all of these shootings are gang-related.
