CARSON, Wash. (AP) - The body of a second missing Yakama tribal
fisherman has been found on the Columbia River near Carson.
Tribal Chairman Ralph Sampson Jr. said Tuesday the body of
30-year-old Gailen Espirito was found just west of the mouth of the
Wind River. Searchers recovered his body in a net they had placed
in the river as part of the search.
Searchers recovered the body of James Peter Jr. in the same
general area Sunday.
Yakama Nation police, family members of the fishermen and
Skamania County officials are continuing the search for Rommel
Strom, the third fisherman in the boat that was found capsized on
May 7.
