Body of Second Missing Yakama Fisherman Found on Columbia River
CARSON, Wash. (AP) - The body of a second missing Yakama tribal fisherman has been found on the Columbia River near Carson. Tribal Chairman Ralph Sampson Jr. said Tuesday the body of 30-year-old Gailen Espirito was found just west of the mouth of the Wind River. Searchers recovered his body in a net they had placed in the river as part of the search. Searchers recovered the body of James Peter Jr. in the same general area Sunday. Yakama Nation police, family members of the fishermen and Skamania County officials are continuing the search for Rommel Strom, the third fisherman in the boat that was found capsized on May 7.
