BENTON CITY, Wash. - Tuesday night nurses at Harborview Medical Center said 11-year-old Amy Marshall is listed in satisfactory condition which is an improvement from early in the day.

Saturday afternoon she was hit by a car while walking to a family friends house along Corral Creek Road.

Tony Mason was driving the vehicle.  Police believe drugs or alcohol might be involved.

Marshall's grandmother says Amy woke up last night and is even eating food.

Mason told deputies that he didn't see the girl because of the glaring sun.  Mason was arrested for vehicular assault.
