KENNEWICK, Wash.- If you've ever wondered what it's like to eat when your blind, Thursday night you have the chance.
It's the fourth annual "Dinner in the Dark" event to raise money for the local center for the blind.
There are only a few tickets left.
Organizers say vision impairment is often forgotten in this community, but it's growing as baby boomers continue to age.
"It's just that people are so busy with their lives they overlook some of the obvious things that are needed out there," said Larry Weiss, Center Administrator.
The dinner is Thursday night at 6:00 at Tri-Tech on Kellogg in Kennewick.
Tickets are $30, $35 at the door. Proceeds go to the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
