Two Men Arrested By the Oregon State Police After Undercover Drug Bust In Union County

UnNION COUNTY, Wash. - A man from La Grande is in trouble with the law.

Police said he was selling drugs from his home which is located one-thousand feet from a school which could change the punishment if he was convicted.

55-year-old Tom Bobbitt was the subject of a two month undercover drug investigation.

Police searched a home located at 1309 4th Street in La Grande and took 8 pounds of marijuana, three firearms and about 11,000 dollars in cash.

67-year-old Calvin Perry Kiesecker was also arrested on May 22nd at the Flying J Truck Stop in Union County for selling 10 ounces of marijuana.

Bobbitt was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school, unlawful delivery of marijuana, and unlawful manufacture of marijuana.

The Baker County Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Union County Sheriff's Office and the La Grande Police Department assisted in the bust.
