YAKIMA, Wash. -- The courtyard at Yakima Valley Community College will be filled tonight with the sounds of nineteen different bands from around the northwest.
The fifth annual Edgefest is going on Saturday night and they're expecting close to 1,000 people at the event.
They're collecting non-perishable food items as part of the ticket price.
The food and money they collect will go to local northwest harvest programs.
"All the food stays local in the Northwest. So come help out your community. 11 hours, 19 bands, multi-genre, we got it all here today," said event organizer Donovon Walton.
